Do the Right Thing!

Do the Right Thing!

Every single Friday, I walk with a little more oomph, stride and strut. I smile even more than I smile now and I am extremely optimistic about the weekend. God did something extra special when he created Friday. Yes, He graciously stated, “It is good!”

But, today, I am uber excited because in our nation, the legislators in South Carolina has chose to do the right thing by removing a symbol that was converted (by so many but not all) into a symbol of hate, torment, supremacy and destruction. So today, I proudly yell in triumph, “Take it Down!” Why? Because if there is anything publicly that offends an entire race or class of people, it should be removed as a matter of respect as it is the right thing to do.

If people want to pay homage to, worship and honor an item (idol), then, they should do so in the privacy of their private walls and life. It should not be a public entity… Period!

Right

There are a lot of things I do (I am certain of this) that people do not agree with and, when I learn of this (if ever), I refrain from doing it because people are the most important thing on earth and I do not want my record to reflect anything less than my best.

We have to be willing to let go of our selfish ways for the betterment of mankind, human kindness, diversity, civil rights and liberties. It is okay to release something to gain something greater and take the higher road (to Glory I hope).

The Right Thing is do not offend, do not hate, do not hurt, do not judge, do not isolate, do not, do not, do not!

The truth is, “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.”

Move Forward In RIGHTeousness XOXO

We definitely do have to do the right thing but the right thing is not always easy. Glad progress is being made, slowly but sure.. It has occurred it’s just sometimes difficult to see in the midst of everything that has been going on lately.

If only mankind could remove their selfish ways but it is very difficult to do as a whole. What are they taking down over there? I am not good at keeping up with news since most of the time it is there to spread fear and paranoia. I’m paranoid and fearful enough on my own, I don’t require external assistance. Lol. Have a great weekend gorgeous Yulunda! -Iva
